INTRODUCTION:

AABT CONSTRUCTION (AABT) is the new registered name of DONBART CONSTRUCTION which was founded on June 23, 2000, with a general engineering classification, and the category is AAA. Its name was changed on March 31, 2017. AABT CONSTRUCTION is a general contracting and trading company registered in the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) of the Philippines bearing with business name registration certificate #4044943 - FMIG650013793721, expiration date: July 28, 2027, a sole proprietorship company. Our core businesses are petroleum products trading, real estate development and construction focusing on horizontal and vertical projects such as Road, Highways, Pavement, Railways, Airport, and bridges, Irrigation / flood control, Dam, Reservoir, Tunneling, Water Supply, Port, Harbor / offshore Engineering and vertical projects such as Buildings (high rise, medium rise and low rise) both commercial, residential and industrial buildings, and any other property development project. General Buildings such as Building, Industrial Plant, Sewage System, Water Treatment Plant & System, Park, Playground / recreational work and other and any other horizontal and vertical projects.

AABT construction provides full-service capabilities in construction and maintenance to private and government clients throughout the Philippines. Through careful planning “AABT” mixes skills, versatility, and reliability and committed to providing quality services to its clients. At “AABT” the construction crews are constantly at work on projects to help ease the various construction projects from the government and the private clients.

Thus, managerial, professional and technical skills training are conducted in a year-round program for employees at all levels of its organization. Construction personnel undergo trade testing, re-learning and skills upgrading in its in-house Crafts Training Center.

As one of the country’s emerging general contracting company, AABT will hire more employees to augment our existing workforce for our present and future expansion of our businesses specifically in the construction industry focuses on Infrastructure, Buildings and Property Development, Heavy and Light Industries and Steel Fabrication. Most of them were engineers of different disciplines and skilled construction workers to be hired and deployed in our present and future projects in the Philippines. The present and future engineers and workers are looked up to as capable, productive, flexible and reliable because of the excellent exposure and experience they gain from world-class projects that the Company has undertaken through the years. This stems from AABT commitment to quality, safety and client’s satisfaction. The Company starts to run an in-house actual training program (called the Integrated Fresh Engineers Development Program) which trains and develops new engineering graduates to become well curved and proficient engineers in the various engineering disciplines. With its broad range of projects in infrastructure, building and property development, heavy and light Industries, and Steel Fabrication here in the Philippines, fresh graduates obtain the best-in-class training and mentorship not only in technical expertise, but also such areas as engineering and design, planning, quality assurance, project management and contracts administration. It provides continuous training and development to new and existing employees in in-house programs.

FINANCE AND AUDIT:

Accounting and bookkeeping and the financial matters of the company are managed by the Finance department. They also, formulate the accounting policies of the company. receivables, payables, payroll, preparation of business plans and periodic MIS reports for corporate management, managing the working capital and insurance are taken care of by this department.

The operations of this department are fully computerized. Systems of the company’s vast operations are scrutinized and audited regularly by the Internal Audit department of the company. This department ensures company’s financial systems and procedures are not violated and conduct regular internal audit checks on different functions of the company. It gives necessary feed back to the top management on the effectiveness of the current systems and procedures and recommends corrective measures.

COMPANY POLICY ON HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT:

AABT is committed to the Health & Safety of all employees, subcontractors and the general public and the environment. Environmental protection is always a priority. The company policy is to provide a safe working place to all its employees by identifying all risks each working location and take necessary action to eliminate the hazards to health and environment before starting the work. The company policy on safety, health and environment shall be implemented strictly to all project locations and to all activities of the company wherever and whenever it is necessary. The company’s rules and regulations are being developed to protect all resources of the company and the environment specially the human resources which is the number one asset of the company. The company shall direct all members of the company’s management team to continuously and strictly implement the safety rules and regulations of the company by conducting a pre-employment HSE training / retraining and seminar for all newly hired and existing employees, conduct a daily tool box meeting at all project locations before going to work to each working places just to remind and keep aware the employees the importance and benefits of HSE policy of the company.

Provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
Provide enough training to enable employees identify the risks and act towards eliminating the hazardous risks to health and environment and to enable to perform their work safely and efficiently.
Provide safety procedures, must always use personal protective equipment at worksite and teach and supervise them on how to use the PPE.
Provide a system of joint consultation to promote safe working practices and system of work.
Maintain a continuing interest in health, safety and welfare matters of the Company’s activities
Conduct a safety toolbox meeting daily for at least fifteen minutes before working in every work location.

QUALITY POLICY:

It is the policy of the Company to consistently provide quality products and services that meet the needs and expectations of our customers. The Quality Management system has been developed to provide mandatory plan for controlling all company activities relating to products, services, quality and ultimate customer satisfaction. The nature of the activities of the company places emphasis on the quality of its workforce, maintenance of equipment and the selection of products.

The criteria for recruitment and training of personnel are based on competence, Experience, performance and relevant qualifications. Periodic Management review shall be carried out to ensure the continued effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Through the Management review process, the continuing suitability, effectiveness and performance of our quality management system shall be determined and evaluate the need for changes where appropriate, based on measurement analysis and improvement.

Towards this, we have implemented a well-documented mandatory quality management system. A hardworking, dedicated team is any company’s greatest asset.
